1984 Mazda RX-7 under going conversion to
JDM Spec. (James' Domesticated Mazda)

Operation Rice Car - to be completed by June 1st, 2003 - the release date for 'Fast & Furious 2'
History - James does not have much money, but he wants a car to auto-x and drag race (also street legal). He does have a 1993 LT1 - given as a birthday present from his dad a few years earlier, a 2004R (automatic overdrive trans.), a 100 shot of nitrous, and a strange sense of humor. Along comes a $300 Mazda RX7- light weight (2400lbs original), rear wheel drive, strong stock rearend, and a large engine bay.
Now, it would be possible to put everything together and go for the 'sleeper' look, but why not go for the low-budget ricer look? Who would think that an ugly, very low-budget rice-ed out car would be fast? 400+ RWHP in a 2400lbs package (that's including all 215lbs of me) with a 3.9 posi rearend.
Now a true ricer needs a large wing and special front end. A large wings was made from some scrap metal, the front end came from a broken Monte Carlo SS, and the hood scoop came is off of a early 70's mustang cobra i believe. The new headlights will be mounted in the opening of the Monte's and the hood scoop will have some LED's mounted in it, to light up at night (had some left over from another project)

Now it is time for a ricerlicous spray can paint job. Various ricer stickers will be added, some mazda rotary stickers, and some large japanese symbols.
SOLD - decided to pimp the Caballero instead -click here: www.BubbaDrift.com
*I recieved a lot of hatemail from RX-7 fans about this project*
